El Osairat Hospital

El Osairat Hospital is a public general hospital in Sohag governorate, Upper Egypt, delivered for the Egyptian Ministry of Health under the broader Upper Egypt healthcare upgrade programme.

Cairo Contracting was appointed as general contractor with responsibility for the full delivery of the facility, including the reinforced concrete superstructure, comprehensive mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, medical gas distribution networks, interior finishes, and external civil works.

The facility was designed and executed in accordance with Ministry of Health standards for general hospital provision, incorporating dedicated outpatient, inpatient ward, surgical and emergency zones. The project required close coordination with medical equipment vendors during the technical fit-out and commissioning phases. The successful delivery of El Osairat Hospital reinforced Cairo Contracting’s established track record in public-sector hospital construction across the Egyptian governorates.
